Wide awake at 2AM(ish) is not ideal. I was so frustrated that I asked for a little Celestial help. Straight away, an image of my Tulsi Tea flew in.

But, for some reason, I tried to do it all on my own and orchestrate some 'magic' tossing & turning for the next 20 minutes.

No result.

And then a voice came; "Sooo, you asked for advice but you didn't take it. Why did you even ask?" Whoa. True. Up I got and boiled the kettle.

So as I sit here, sipping tea & getting sleepier & sleepier by the minute, I thought I'd rave about this tea - because this healing herb (that my old Yoga teacher put me onto) has helped me in so many ways.

It's name alone means 'the incomparable one' and is described in India as the Holy Basil.

Tulsi functions as an adaptogen, enhancing the body's natural response to physical and emotional stress. Adaptogenic herbs do not alter mood, but rather, they help the body function optimally during times of stress. It lifts spirits and acts as a nerve tonic. (Calming down my loose canon of a Nervous System.)

Now the Tulsi Sleep is even morrrrre special - it combines 2 varieties of tulsi, krishna and vana; blended with anti-stress herbs (brahmi, ashwagandha and shankpushpi), which also deliver restorative energy needed for healthy sleep.

These are then blended with chamomile, cardamom and peppermint to promote a calm, restful sleep. So now my cup is empty & Tulsi has done it's job...ni-night

And remember to always listen to guidance when you ask for it!
